      Verdict

      Rod Millman won this last year but Mylaporyours didn't appear to improve on her Bath success when tackling better company at Salisbury. Bond's Girl made a very good impression when conceding 5lb and beating subsequent winner Mecca's Mirage at Beverley and there's much more to come as there is from Cabbies Lou, who showed the benefit of a promising debut with a battling success at Ripon. Buccaneers Vault gained many admirers with a cracking display at Beverley where he stayed on strongly over that stiff 5f, suggesting that tonight's trip will suit even better. KASB made a remarkable debut at Newbury where he looked out with the washing until coming with a powerful burst to snatch victory. The placed horses both won next time out so the form looks strong and he can go in again.
