Verdict
Destroyer is upped in class after scoring over track and trip and Morning Suit is preferred having placed off today’s mark on his last couple of outings. Roller is now 10lb higher than when scoring at Redcar in April but stable companion TORRID ran well again in a tougher contest at Newcastle last time having won at Ripon earlier and Mick Easterby’s charge gets the nod. Spring Offensive is not easily dismissed with an apprentice’s allowance helping his cause but Sands Chorus drops back down in distance and Crowning Glory and Cote d'Azur look high enough in the weights.
