In depth

Verdict

Always Ends Well showed good speed on her debut at Beverley before fading at the furlong pole and that will have done her the world of good. Waybuloo started favourite for her Leicester debut but never showed and finished tailed off. Richard Fahey saddles Ebony Clarets and Springleaf with Paul Hanagan on the former but both are speedily-bred and there may not be much between them. Tim Easterby has his horses in good form so the well-connected Punchie, who has plenty of pace in her pedigree, is one to note. Tom Dascombe hasn't really got going so far but PYMAN'S THEORY could change that as she is a half-sister to the 2yo Listed winner Forthefirstime.
