Stream Of Gold gets a tentative vote to break his duck, with newcomer Thistle and Baboosh expected to go close as well. Stream Of Gold is by no means a good thing here but the fact that he represents the Stoute-Fallon combination means that he is bound to be popular with punters. The son of Rainbow Quest, a full-brother to Spectrum, was not given a hard time on his Newmarket debut, but caught the eye in rear. The drop back in trip should not be a hindrance, and he will have learnt a lot so should make his presence felt. Baboosh shaped well on her debut at Pontefract last September, and one or two Fanshawe's inmates have gone close on their reappearance this term so she should be noted, especially if the market speaks in her favour. Debutante Thistle should like the ground, being a son of Selkirk, and whatever he does here, should have no trouble in opening his account sooner rather than later, especially when stepped up in trip. On this occasion though, the experience of Stream Of Gold may prove too much for him and the rest.
