In depth

Verdict

Plenty with claims in this though Thaqaffa is raised a couple of grades off a 7lb higher mark for winning at Beverley. Little Lady Katie and Silvery Moon were both successful on their latest starts but in heavy ground while Spring Offensive was beaten only a length last time and won here in April when TRINITY STAR was third. But the latter re-opposes on much better terms today and having won twice over course and distance last year and having gone close again here last month, Michael Dods’ charge may come out best.
