Cinque Verde and Talha are debutants of interest for top northern stables with the former, a daughter of Sioux Nation, preferred at this stage. The market should inform on stable expectations first time up though. Camila Vargas was last of nine on debut so is best watched, whereas Jamie Bond showed signs of ability when a respectable sixth of 13 over this trip at Thirsk and should progress from the run. RUSSET GOLD has been out of the frame on both starts but hasn't been beaten that far on either occasion, was bang there until fading late on last time at the big Goodwood festival and shapes as if this drop in trip is just the ticket.
