        Verdict

        AUTUMN FESTIVAL showed little in all-weather maidens before a successful handicap debut at Redcar last week when well supported. A 7lb penalty appears unlikely to prevent a quick double. Wendell's Lad makes his handicap debut after landing a Southwell maiden 10 days ago while Ba Na Hills, who has had all four starts at Newcastle, landed a 7f maiden last month and makes his handicap bow. Roamin In Gloamin has been placed in his last five starts, four of them at Southwell and all from today's mark, while Rolypolymoly improved with each start last season.
