    In depth

    Formwatch

Double Oscar (IRE) As good as ever when chasing Baby Barry home over six furlongs here last month and is equally effective over the minimum trip but needs everything to go his way to figure.

Shirley Not In fair form at present and holds fair claims and although long losing run a touch off-putting the same could be said of most of these..

Bowlers Boy Not without a chance on the best of his form but a below par effort last time underlined the fact that he is not the most consistent of characters.

Storyteller (IRE) Another who would have a good chance if on song but is on such a long losing run it is hard to make a case for him here.

Leaping Charlie In and out performer who is well capable of being on the premises again but has yet to win off a marl this high.

Torrent Equally effective at 5 & 6 furlongs and is on a fair mark but may struggle from his high draw.

Rushby (IRE) Not in the best of form and best watched.

Speedfit Free (IRE) May find this trip a touch on the sharp side.

Candothat Below par this term and passed over.

Jayannpee poor wins to runs record and nothing in recent form suggests that will change today.

Pigeon Consistent performer but showed little on her reappearance at Haydock last month.

Tomthevic On a fair mark but is proving hard to win with.

Albert The Bear Regular visitor here but may be better over an extra furlong these days.

Pertemps Fc Another in and out character who is not without a chance but any rain would hinder his chances.

Maladerie (IRE) Suited by five furlongs and has put in some fair efforts lately however, they have been over an extra furlong and he is not sure to go so well back at the minimum trip.

Rude Awakening May be better over six furlongs these days and others look to have stronger claims.

Pacific Place (IRE) Over all profile not convincing and others preferred.

Illusive (IRE) Largely consistent but needs fast ground to be seen at his best so any rain would be a negative
