Obboorr has gone well here in the past and is worth a second look, despite returning from a break. Gabrial The Thug finally got off the mark at Newcastle last month but has it all to do off an 8lb higher mark here and Ripon third Tinseltown is better over further. Missy Wells was second over course and distance in May but finished last on this quicker surface at Ripon on her latest start. Ripon scorer TOWER POWER appears to be improving and can defy a 5lb jump in the weights as he's having only his sixth start today. Woodacre is lightly raced for his age and ran well for a long way on his reappearance at Beverley so is a likely danger, though Lord Franklin is eased in class.
