        Verdict

        Pallister ran well in a classified event at Ascot last month but is more exposed than the Chelmsford maiden winner Lovely Memory, who also represents Godolphin. Assault On Rome beat Volunteer Point in soft ground at Goodwood in August but has since finished behind ICONIC. The latter acquitted herself well stepped up to this level at Ascot and finding only one too good and Henry Candy's filly may come out best today. Pyjama Party and Sakhee's Return can finish closer back in this grade having won their penultimate starts, though the latter steps up in distance.
