GAINSBOURG scored over the trip at Hamilton in July and came here to land a handicap on soft ground in October. He couldn't quite manage the step up in class at Nottingham next time but this is his level. Stately Home has had three runs at Kempton since scoring at Bellewstown for Denis Hogan and has only been beaten a neck the last twice so is an obvious threat. Natchez Trace was inconsistent last summer but would have a definite chance at his best while Dark Company has been confined to the all-weather after three reasonable runs on Turf in the summer.
