Verdict

Sands Chorus has won three times at Redcar since April, the latest a seller for which he's been raised 7lb. Confrontational's two recent victories came on Tapeta at Newcastle but Lasting Legacy was taking on a bit more than he could handle there last time after scoring at Redcar. CAPTAIN CORELLI (NAP) hasn't won yet but was only caught in the closing stages over the trip at Haydock and a 2lb rise looks manageable so he can go one better. John Clare looked as though another victory was imminent when runner-up at Windsor but ran poorly at Beverley next time.
