        Verdict

        Having blown the start, last year’s winner WYNFORD (NAP) was finishing best of all behind Infiniti and the trail-blazing Flint Hill over a slightly shorter trip here last month and the ground has turned in favour of Rebecca Menzies’ tough stayer. Dereham may have needed the run in that race but Flat White looks a bigger danger after a couple of very easy victories over 2m on soft going at Catterick. Henry The Fifth will have stamina to prove while there are going concerns surrounding Tendentious.
