Verdict

HIT THE ROCKS placed twice here in the spring when racing off higher marks. He’s been absent since May but most of the others are also returning from a lay-off and regular pilot Caoilin Quinn takes off 7lb again so he’s preferred to stablemate Privatory. Brown Bullet also likes it here and finished ahead of Amelia's Dance on similar terms at Fontwell in March. Caramelised was an early faller at Sedgefield when last seen but his yard is in much better form now while a case can also be made for Coolnaugh Haze and Purple King.
