Pilgrims Rest is rated 81 on the Flat despite not having won since 2012 and he made a reasonable start over timber at Bangor. Galuppi was obviously suited by a first-time visor when gaining his first success at Fakenham a couple of weeks ago where he was well supported. Act Of Supremacy also ran at that meeting where he was in touch for a long way before the lack of a run since December took its toll. With that under his belt he should make his presence felt. With his stable in form, winning point-to-pointer Grandasowt can make a bold bid to defy a long absence while successful bumper Outrath is surely better than we've seen from him so far over timber. The latter's yard is also represented by Missile Man, who won a bumper here in January and with a smart jumping pedigree is one to note, though WILLIAM H BONNEY has been a beaten favourite in both bumper starts and with a pedigree full of winning jumpers he can make a successful debut over obstacles.
