    Verdict

Neil King has a good strike rate at this track and EVELLA looks capable of boosting it. She's got her act together over fences now and made all to win in testing ground at both at Uttoxeter and Fakenham last month. Today's drop back in trip is no problem and she is preferred to Asturienne. The latter opened her account over fences when beating Canni Thinker a head at Folkestone recently and should figure in the finish here. Gan On has won twice over hurdles and has her first start over fences, but Karingabay Queen and Present Gem showed little on their respective chasing debuts and are best watched.
