Jordan's Lad was most impressive last time and can follow up here at the expense of Chef Tartare and Bandit Brown. Michael Scudamore's gelding, a recent purchase from Ireland, scored as he pleased on his British debut at Towcester. He had won on testing ground in Ireland and was never in danger from a long way out. He makes a quick reappearance before the handicapper gives him a hefty hike up the ratings and he looks the one to be on. Chef Tartare finally got his head in front at Chepstow last time and with the third Uncle Walllis winning at Kempton on Saturday the form looks very decent. Bandit Brown is well treated on his novice form and could be vying for a place, although the other three runners can also be given chances on their best runs. However Jordan's Lad looks to be a very promising recruit to the Scudamore camp and is given a confident vote.
