In depth

Verdict

Dragoon Guard and Ray Diamond would have a chance in a race like this on their best form, though both are ridden by inexperienced amateurs. Burgess Dream alternates between hurdles and fences but seems to reserve his best for Lingfield and prefers the mud. Boher Lad has been raised a massive 10lb since winning at Southwell, though is still preferred to Towcester scorer Goodnight Charlie. LANDSCAPE’s turn may have finally come around again as he handled the step up in trip here last month well enough and now has a few more options.
