Winning bumper Western Approaches has been a little disappointing over timber so far but has raced mainly on fast ground so today's conditions may aid his cause. HAWKHILL, four times a winner on the Flat in Ireland, made a reasonable start over timber at Tipperary and though that race hasn't worked out particularly well he will have improved and can get off the mark for Tim Vaughan. John Ferguson has made an incredible start to his training career so the French import Primaries has to be respected despite a moderate record in the Provinces. Venetia Williams has acquired Duaiseoir from Jim Bolger and this dual Flat winner is one to keep an eye on as he makes his hurdling debut. Kings Bayonet can do best of the remainder.
