Verdict

A useful sort on the Flat, BRANDON CASTLE (NAP) has taken well to hurdling and won both starts so far over the course and distance. He’s worth sticking with now handicapping having defied a penalty in novice company here last time. Arthington’s earlier success at Lingfield came in soft going and he was still 10 lengths behind the winner when runner-up at Fontwell last month while Royal Hall had won over a longer trip here before unseating early on back at the track in November. Distingo should do better dropping down in class today while Desiremoi D'Authie faces a tougher task after placing at Wincanton last month.
