Chris Gordon has won this a couple of times in the last four years and JUMPING JACK has every chance today. The latter went close in a Class 3 handicap over track and trip last month when six lengths clear of the rest and is fancied to get the better of Kapdad in this. The latter has a slight advantage on today’s terms but hasn’t raced since February and all his form has been on testing ground so far. Point-to-point winner Shanroe Smooch was well beaten on his hurdling bow and looks up against it.
