    Verdict

    Romain De Senam caught Not Another Muddle in the closing stages at Fontwell just 10 days ago with the latter not helping his cause by making a mess of the last fence. There’s little between them on that evidence and both are preferred to the struggling Militarian but MERCIAN PRINCE is not out of this. He’s been well beaten in a couple of Grade 3 chases since scoring easily at Kempton in January and a combination of first-time headgear and the return to good ground could see Amy Murphy’s charge take this.
