Tanikos is in receipt of all the allowances here and while Nicky Henderson had a few reverses at the weekend, his charge should take the beating here, over Redde and The Bandit. Tanikos probably did not beat too much at Hereford on his last start, but he was nonetheless impressive given that the market vibes were not great beforehand. Redde ran too badly to be true at the track last time out. He had handled this surface in the past, which made the run all the more unbelievable. He should not be written off but will have a job on conceding so much weight to the likely favourite. The Bandit is in good form but unproven on the surface, and the remainder make little appeal. Tanikos is given the vote at the expense of Redde.
