Verdict
David Pipe enjoys a 23% strike rate in bumpers over the past five years and is 2-3 with his bumper runners here during that time, all of which points favourably to the claims of TULLYESKER HILL here who makes his debut for the yard after winning an Irish point-to-point in May. Confidence would be strengthened should the market speak strongly of his chances. Another Brandy, also a winner on the Irish pointing scene, has since performed respectably in bumper company at Fontwell and Newton Abbot and has definite place claims here. Come On Laurie won here in May 2012 before being well beaten at Huntingdon ten months later. He has not been seen since but is in good hands and is certainly worthy of a place on the shortlist. The market should reflect expectations surrounding the remainder.
