Chapati failed to land the odds off this mark at Kelso but need only run up to the form of an earlier victory at Stratford to go close here. The four-year-old SALAMANCA SCHOOL didn’t win over hurdles but has placed on several occasions and did score on the Flat when trained by Mark Johnston. If he takes to fences, he could be well treated. Gaia Vallis did win over the larger obstacles at Fontwell in March but is still 5lb higher.
