Course and distance winner Counteract was well beaten at Stratford on Saturday. Ozzie Man, a winning point-to-pointer, was beaten a long way when runner-up over hurdles at Lingfield a year ago and makes his debut over fences. Abaya Du Mathan won five times over fences in France but has been mainly disappointing for David Pipe while five-times hurdles winner Notnow Seamus has had a dozen starts over fences without winning. WHO IS THAT is hardly one to trust having fallen when in contention in his first two starts over fences at Fontwell but made amends there earlier this month and can defy a 2lb rise. Agent Saonois won over timber at Uttoxeter and made a promising start over fences here last month so looks a threat.
