Verdict

Dual hurdles winner Verano has not taken to fences and is quickly returned to the smaller obstacles where he can do much better. LAUGHTON PARK (NAP) loves it around this tight track and all three of his career victories have come over the course and distance. He made a reasonable reappearance at Fontwell and looks set for victory number four on the track. Tambura has won a bumper here and any further easing of the ground would be in her favour while a strong gallop in testing conditions would suit The Geegeez Geegee, a winner over three miles at Taunton. Point to point winner The Cooper's Friend won a Uttoxeter maiden in September then ran too badly to be true at Carlisle last month.
