Verdict

LISP will likely start a strong favourite despite a penalty for winning over track and trip last month. Alan King’s charge beat a subsequent winner on that occasion so the form looks solid enough. Bumper winner Way Out West made a modest start over timber with a fifth at Ludlow but is still preferred to Now Listen Here, a distant fourth at Fontwell on his hurdling bow. Poyntzpass was also beaten a long way when third at Newton Abbot but Airtight drops in class and may finish closer.
