In depth

Formwatch

Jymjam Johnny (IRE) Veteran who has slipped to a fair mark after a poor run last time and could still go close if back to his old form; no forlorn hope.

Cardinal Rule (IRE) seasonal reappearance and runs off lowest rating ever so has to be respected; may need the run though.

Coolteen Hero (IRE) One-paced but honest sort who is due a visit to the winner's enclosure and should handle the ground conditions well today.

Chatergold (IRE) Disappointed last time but had previously won in good style and cannot be ruled out on that run.

Tommy Carson Has a pipe opener at Brighton on Thursday and ran well behind the very smart Rodock last time over fences; if that wasn't a flash in the pan he would be a handicap snip but can't be relied on to reproduce the run.

Follow The Trend (IRE) If he jumps round he's been winning of late but it's 50/50 whether he'll finish; risky proposition.

Reign Dance Pulled up last two outings and looks to have a tall order.

Dovetto Stays well but is inconsistent and others make far more appeal.

Trefelyn Snowdrop No great shakes; hard to fancy.
