None of these were at their best last time though FAIRWAY FREDDY was still in contention at Fakenham when a mistake brought his race to an end. He won off a higher mark over track and trip last year and Nick Gifford’s charge should be in the mix. A winner in France, Red Happy failed to complete at Sandown on his debut for new connections and has undergone wind surgery while Early Du Lemo was well beaten in testing going at Chepstow and Le Coeur Net fell in the same race.
