    Verdict

Locksmith, Limerick Boy and Sleep Bal look the three to concentrate on in this beginners chase and the confident vote goes to Locksmith. The selection was a fair sort over hurdles and finished a fair seventh in that sphere at Cheltenham behind Brave Inca when last seen. He is sure to have been well schooled for his chasing debut and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Limerick Boy rates the main danger as he was also a fair hurdler but his best fiorm was with more cut in the ground and he is passed over for that reason. Sleep Bal is another worthy of respect as he is from a top yard and looks sure to improve for the switch to fences but his hurdles form leaves him with a little to find on the principals. Of the remainder Fool On The Hill has plenty of experience over fences and has definite place claims but he needs to improve to score. The rest of the field have shown virtually nothing and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Locksmith.
