Just about the most-competitive race on the card with Bauhaus selected ahead of Borehill Joker and Brochrua. Borehill Joker is a 100-rated winner racing from a mark of 105 but who still looks capable of running well in this event. Bauhaus is consistent and, if the first-time blinkers help things, would not be a surprise winner. Garston Star showed some improvement last time but will need to build on it again, while Brochrua showed improved form on his first run for a new stable when winning a seller last time and, even though he has been raised eight pounds, cannot be ruled out. Peephole and Mapilut du Moulin seem to need to find improvement, while New Time could be fancied if recapturing his 2005 winning form. With Silistra not looking obviously well handicapped and Percipient having failed to build on a claiming win, Alina Rheinberg might be one to run well stepping up in trip today. For the selection though, we will suggest Bauhaus.
