Verdict

Melekhov won a maiden hurdle at Exeter last month but the second did nothing for the form at Newton Abbot earlier this week and he may need softer going. Mick Thonic wouldn’t be without a chance returning from a break but Chris Gordon could hold the key to this. Ramore Will is running for the first time since November but MELLOW BEN was only beaten a length-and-a-half over track and trip five weeks ago and wouldn’t need much more today raised only a pound.
