Apollo Lady is going from strength to strength and can do her bit to end the dismal run of the Alan King stable. Shatabadi is the obvious danger, while Mango Santhai looks the pick of the modest bunch that oppose. The Irish form of the last named is nothing out of the ordinary and she needs to improve on her recent profile. However, the change in scenery may be a help and she looks an interesting type for Tony Carroll to go to war with in races of this nature. Shatabadi makes her British debut today, so the worth of her French form has to be taken on trust. A bit of give underfoot seems to be prevalent in her profile, so she should cope with the conditions. She looks a good fun horse for her connections and it would come as no surprise to see her sharp enough to shake-up the selection.
