In depth

Verdict

This bumper will probably chiefly concern, King Of Dubai, Glebehall Bay and FABULOUS FRED and we will side with the last-named. Noel Chance's gelding put up a good performance to finish runner-up in a similar Warwick contest on heavy ground last month. Although slightly hampered that day he would probably still not have won, but he can show enough improvement to take this. Glebehall Bay is much respected from a yard going well and as one also proven on testing ground, and it would not be a shock if he improved enough to win. King Of Dubai has run well enough on good to soft in two runs but is yet to try it as soft as today, while Lemonade Jack is related to a triple bumper winner, though it is hard to find anything in his pedigree to suggest that testing ground will suit. Niceboy's bloodlines don't give the impression that he will be a Gary Moore stable star, so we'll side with Fabulous Fred.
