Chilli Rose is still a maiden over hurdles but she ran the useful Violin Davis to a length-and-a-half at Wincanton in March and was far from disgraced off a much higher mark at Cheltenham subsequently. Mavalenta has got her act together lately and found only one too good at Leicester three weeks ago, while Rith Bob won over fences at Fontwell before falling at Wincanton. Cinderella Rose will have needed her comeback run at Wincanton but the one to beat here may be EXTREMELY SO. She's done well over hurdles and is still relatively unexposed. A P McCoy's presence in the saddle today suggests Philip McBride fancies her to return to winning ways.
