Verdict

Usk Valley, Celtic Star and Tudor King look the three to concentrate on in this handicap chase and the confident vote goes to Usk Valley. The selection won with plenty in hand when defeating Lost In Normandy last time and although he has risen in the weights he still looks ahead of the handicapper and is taken to score under conditions that suit. Celtic Star rates the main danger he also won well last time out when defeating Gabor but he will do well to give weight and a beating to the selection. Tudor King is another worthy of respect on his best form but he just gave the impression in was in the handicappers grip when fifth behind Imago last time and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Alfred The Grey is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but he may need the run after a long absence and for the winner we return to Usk Valley.
