Most of these have questions to answer but Lindsay's Dream and Hawk Gold are both course and distance winners and the former wasn't beaten far on the Flat at Brighton last month. Sadma appeared to show improvement when second here last time, though the winner has been well beaten since. Noble Friend was second at Worcester and Uttoxeter in June but the ground will be a lot slower today. Two of IN THE CROWD's last three runs have been in sellers but this probably isn't much better. He's nicely treated on his form of last year so gets a tentative vote. Qasser has been placed in four of his seven starts over hurdles but the lack of recent action is a worry.
