Verdict

Rude And Crude made a winning start in bumpers with a victory over track and trip. But he carries a 7lb penalty for that success which should gives the advantage to CORNER CREEK. The latter finished a long way in front of the third when runner-up at Carlisle on his racecourse debut and Michael Scudamore's charge gets the vote. Tambura is another penalised for winning at Ffos Las while Oh So Fruity never looked like catching the winner at Fontwell last month. Whispering Speed is a half-brother to a bumper winner and is a newcomer to note.
