Wild Bay has weakened over shorter distances than this and it is hard to have any faith in one that hasn't finished any closer than twenty lengths to the winner in three starts over hurdles. This race has been won by favourites three times in the last four seasons, so it is worth noting where market support lies. Mister Pink has shown that he can handle it round here with two solid, although hardly sparkling efforts, in his final two races last term. He doesn't have the best record when fresh though and we take a chance with BYNACK MHOR. Lawney Hill has her runners in good shape and although the gelding only has a 1-11 record over fences and fell on his only start here there are enough positives in a weak race. On his only appearance here he was leading until two out and fell the last. He won at Uttoxeter over a similar trip in July and although disappointing since then we take a chance he can return to form and take the race. Orion Star won for the first time in May at Exeter and could challenge but it is a weak looking race and hard to back anything with too much confidence.
