ACTION IMPACT is a decent yardstick in this maiden hurdle and with some improvement likely we side with Gary Moore's runner at the expense of Dean's Grange and Panda Bay. Pretty useful on the flat, winning his last start in that sphere off a mark of 74, the selection has showed plenty of promise in two outings over timber. His debut when third behind Quantativeeasing is useful form and also shows he'll handle conditions so with the yard's record at this track still looking impressive he has the call. Dean's Grange doesn't have to find much based on official ratings and showed an improved effort on his latest start. He's had less racing than the pick so can improve but the ground looks a bit of a sticking point. Panda Bay has shown some encouragement when placing in a novice event on his debut over timber and having struggled over longer trips since he should go better now over this test. There was enough to like about Mega Watt's debut over obstacles to give him a shout in this line-up but Action Impact sets the standard and should be the one they have to beat.
