Peter Bowen’s runners are always worth a second look here but More Buck's has something to prove now having been pulled up at Market Rasen two weeks ago in a race won by Potterman. The latter had been put firmly in his place earlier at Bangor by IMADA, who clearly enjoyed a step up to 3m. Nicky Richards’ 10-year-old has been very lightly raced and might have a chance of defying a 14lb hike in the ratings. Boy's On Tour is a regular here and has won four times over 2m4f but he struggles to stay this far and was beaten by stable companion Fortunes Hiding on better terms two runs ago. The Young Master was a smart stayer in his younger days but is giving away lumps of weight beat lesser opposition at Southwell. Amalfi Doug needs more and Soupy Soups is held by the selection on the form book.

Soupy Soups (IRE) 15-2 (11-7) Held up towards rear, modest 5th briefly 3 out, no impression, soon weakened, 6th of 8, dist behind Imada (10-4) at Bangor-on-Dee 3m hcp (2) gd in Jul.
Imada (IRE) 15-2 (10-4) Held up off the pace in 5th, closed travelling well from after 9th, challenged 2 out, soon led, clear when reached at last, easily, won at Bangor-on-Dee 3m hcp (2) gd in Jul beating Potterman (11-9) by 15l, 8 ran.

Fortunes Hiding (IRE) 12-1 (11-12) Mid-division, pushed along 3 out, led 2 out, stayed on gamely, won at Perth 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in Jul beating Boy's On Tour (11-7) by 3 1/4l, 7 ran.
Boy's On Tour (IRE) 4-1 (10-9) Chased leaders until lost place 7th, rallied 11th, went 2nd approaching 4 out, led approaching 2 out, stayed on well, won at Perth 2m 4f hcp (3) sft in Aug beating Cracking Destiny (11-10) by 1 1/2l, 9 ran.

Trongate (IRE) 3-1fav (10-11) Chased leaders and wide, outpaced after 3 out, pushed along and kept on into 3rd and awkward last, 3rd of 13, 8 1/4l behind Pammi (10-10) at Perth 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in Aug.
