A number of these hold engagements elsewhere during the festival but SPARKLING ZOLA is put forward against Maolisa and Norwest. The daughter of Double Trigger was bred with staying events in mind and ran a fair race over course-and-distance earlier in the month. A winner over three miles at Hexham, she has plenty of positives at this level. Maolisa is still a maiden over hurdles but she has been consistent in her form over the long run. Norwest was previously thought of as being a soft ground performer though he did not disgrace himself on a similar surface at Uttoxeter last month. Moscow Mischief is surely better than her latest effort suggests. Supercede was scheduled to run last night but the yard are no strangers to running two days on the trot so any market confidence should be accordingly noted. The combination of fast ground and a staying trip look spot on for Sparkling Zola and we are confident that she can bail us out in the nightcap.
