JEWELLED DAGGER is the speculative selection in the nightcap to see off Mountskip and Shopfrontspecialst. Jim Goldie's yard have enjoyed a purple patch this summer and it could be that this frustrating flat performer might liven up for the switch to hurdling. Admittedly his previous hurdling efforts come under the banner of inauspicious but he should at least be fit. Mountskip did not do a lot wrong last time out at Market Rasen. Today's conditional rider takes off 10lb and he has won on the horse previously. Shopfrontspecialst beat Front Rank when they met here a couple of weeks ago. He was unable to follow up at Tipperary though was well clear of the remainder. Bollin Ruth was second to a progressive sort at Hexham and will not always be so unlucky to do so. Morning Time has won races on the level for Jessica Harrington in Ireland and makes a debut tonight for Lucinda Russell. Mister Castlefield has an interesting jockey booking so the market should be watched accordingly. Jewelled Dagger looks best placed to prosper.
