      Verdict

      JAUNTY THOR should make amends for a narrow defeat over hurdles here earlier in the month as he can race off a 5lb lower mark over fences and will strip fitter today. Orioninverness fell over 3m here in May when last seen but did win earlier at Newcastle, though is still 10lb higher. Seven Devils has a very long absence to overcome but reappears on a decent mark so makes more appeal than Rancher Lass.
