In depth

Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for this novices chase and the principals look to be Brave Effect, Ragdale Hall and Sunday Rain and we will take a chance on Ragdale Hall. The gelding from the Phillip Hobbs yard won well when last seen over fences and with conditions again in his favour he will be hard to beat. Sunday Rain rates the main danger he was a fair fourth behind Glinger in a handicap over course and distance and now that he drops back to this novice grade he will be a danger to all. Brave Effect is also worthy of consideration he was a fair second behind Moonlake last time and he will be suited by the step up in trip but we are happy to side with Ragdale Hall.
