In depth

Formwatch

Another Chance This is more his level and trip and ground should present no problems; one to consider and would represent the each-way value.

Colonel Conca Well beaten on hurdling debut on first run in nearly a year; would need to improve a good deal to feature.

Lateagain No show to date.

Lauderdale Has hinted at ability and ought to have some improvement to come but will need to find it; the ground should be no problem.

Ratty's Band Little evidence for recommendation today.

Red Rampage Ought to be able to win a race and he should go well in this company; a poor run last time has to be overlooked for he has shown he acts on soft.

River Rebel Little evidence for recommendation today.

Son of Ross Progressing and should stay well but others are preferred today.

Straighttothebar Some promise in bumpers for this hurdling debutante; related to some winners but lacks hurdling experience.

Sumthyne Special (IRE) Looked good in bumpers three years ago, winning at Carlisle and handling heavy; seemed to be running a good race when falling last time and he's another who, although he's clearly had problems, has to be considered.

The Tinker No show to date.

Tom Collins No form in points for this Rules debutante

Vrin (IRE) A winner at York three years ago over 12f and will attract supporters in what does not seem a strong race.

Jazz d'Estruval (FR) No clues from the breeding of this French import; maybe the market will provide some.

Montasareen (USA) Four placed efforts have revealed consistent but modest form; the trip should prove no problem and she warrants some consideration.

Rarchnamara (IRE) Has to be leading contender based on his last run, when seventh behind Captain Zinzan at Doncaster; related to some good winners and sure to be progressing.

Thistlekicker (IRE) Third in a Kelso maiden in May but little to recommend him beyond that.
