Tap Night was sent off favourite at Ayr a couple of weeks ago but let supporters down again in finishing 16 lengths behind winner Scotch Warrior. Mike Smith's charge has already won six times around here and has to go on the short-list again while Shadows Lengthen has hit form with a vengeance and is on a hat-trick after victories at Doncaster and Haydock. Quincy Des Pictons and Wicklow Lad are others worth a second look but the handicapper seems to have a firm grip on Conquisto and Dare Me has lost his way again. MAJALA beat His Excellency in a Grade 2 at Warwick last season but has found life tough this term since chasing home Sire De Grugy on his reappearance. He's on a fair mark now, however, and would be a threat to all if getting his act together today.
