Bouggietopieces won narrowly over 2m4f here earlier in the month but this trip has proved beyond him in the past. Fellow Irish raider Down Time only beat one home over track and trip last time but did win on good to soft at Newton Abbot last month. Solway Legend goes well here so can't be ignored while Lord Fox will strip fitter for a recent third at Cartmel. But BAR A MINE must have schooled well before his chase debut at Uttoxeter at the start of the year as he was sent off favourite. He didn't get far and hasn't raced since but he's now joined Nigel Twiston-Davies, who might have found a decent opportunity for him here. Shady Sadie finished well ahead of Bertie Milan here in July and is gradually edging towards a decent mark.
