This looks a cracking contest for the time of year, though we could again lose a couple who were due to run yesterday. The four-year-olds Rejaah and Impulsive American have a big weight-for-age allowance in their favour but the latter does have to carry a double penalty, though showed he was in good heart with a game win on the Flat at Ayr last week. FLYING ANGEL's half-brother Mac's Grey won over fences and Nigel Twiston-Davies' grey would have been the best of these over hurdles having finished third behind the mighty Yorkhill in a Grade 1 at Aintree in the spring. Tempo Mac has experience on his side but faces a stiff task conceding weight all round.
